Edi AI Assistant integrates with online stores built on WordPress and WooCommerce. In addition to the general content of the website, Edi can use the store’s product catalog to find and recommend relevant products based on visitors’ questions.
Product recommendations
Edi automatically indexes WooCommerce product pages and can recommend relevant products during conversations with visitors. Recommended products can be displayed with an image, price, and a direct link to the product page.
Before recommending a product, Edi checks its current price and availability. Products that are out of stock are not recommended.
This allows visitors to ask questions in natural language, such as “Do you have a product suitable for…?” or “What would you recommend for…?”, and Edi can search the store’s catalog for relevant products.
WooCommerce order information
For customers who are logged in to the store, Edi can also provide information about their recent orders, including the order number, date, status, and total value.
Edi has read-only access to this information. It cannot modify products, prices, stock levels, or orders.
Does the WooCommerce store need to be modified?
WooCommerce integration is part of Edi AI Assistant’s functionality. Edi is installed on the website through the WordPress plugin and uses information from the store to answer visitors’ and customers’ questions.
