Where is the data stored?
The data is hosted on our own infrastructure in Romania, in the European Union. Conversations and indexed content stay on our infrastructure, with no transfer to third-party AI services.
What do I need to do to put it on my site?
You download the Edi plugin from your account, install it in WordPress and enter the activation key. Edi indexes your site automatically and can be ready to use within minutes.
Does it speak Romanian?
Yes. Edi answers in Romanian and English, and automatically uses the language the visitor writes in.
What happens if it does not know the answer?
If the information is not in the indexed content or in the knowledge you added, Edi does not invent an answer. It can point the visitor to the contact page, and the question stays visible in your account.
Is it WordPress-only?
Edi is currently available for WordPress sites. Support for other platforms is on our roadmap.
Can I customize it?
Yes. You can customise the look, the colours and the messages from the WordPress plugin, while in your account you configure Edi's personality, the way it answers and its extra knowledge.
How is the price calculated?
Each package includes a number of tokens per month. To make comparison easier, we also show an estimated number of questions, calculated from real usage. Actual consumption depends on how complex the conversations are.
Can I make it fully mine (white-label)?
Yes. The larger packages allow using Edi white-label, with no ServerHost branding in the interface shown to visitors.
How does Edi find the answers?
Edi looks for information by the meaning of the question, not just by exact words. That way it can find relevant information and products even when the visitor phrases the question differently from the text on your site.
Do I have to host my site with ServerHost?
No. Edi can also be installed on sites hosted with other providers. All you need is a WordPress site where you can install the Edi plugin, and your hosting service can stay exactly where it is.
